Overview
DYMO Plug 'n Play printer was aimed to be a light-weight, pc connected printer that requires no installation and super easy to use. However, keeping it simple is not as easy as it looks. Lots of efforts were made to make sure:
1. The application has minimum foot print so that the executables for both Windows and Mac can fit on the 4 Mb built-in printer memory
2. Achieve modern look an feel without using .NET/WPF framework
3. Concise feature set (avoid feature creep)
4. The UI has little to none learning curve
5. Minimum hardware control and the communication between software and hardware works smoothly

Evolution of the UI
This is a fairly straightforward utility app.
